I got the earlier model of this skillet three Christmases ago, and it has held up amazingly well. The non-stick surface is still fully intact, and releases food just as smoothly as when I first used it. It always heats up quickly and evenly even on my lame electric range. The solid-metal handle surprisingly stays completely cool to the touch, even with prolonged stove-top use. It's quite sturdy and hasn't warped at all. I certainly haven't handled it with kid gloves, but I use (usually) non-metallic utensils with it. This new version is more than three times the amount I paid for my old one; but given what I've seen in mine's quality and durability, I think it's still a great buy. About the most annoying thing in the world is having a bunch of junk stuck to your pans. I mean I want to throw pans across the room when they do that. This pan is money, nothing sticks and it's really easy to clean. I've only had it for a month or so but it seems to be made very well and as long as I take care of it I think it's going to be around for a long time. If you struggle with pans that stick more than once per week then do yourself a favor and get a good pan!

We use this for bacon and eggs nearly every day, and it has lasted for over a year with few dings in the teflon even now. I would buy another.

I am a serious user and I put this pan through the ringer. I beat on it for close to 4 years and the non-stick coating has begun to fail. I can't blame it though, considering the treatment. I never used metal utensils, only silicone. Great quality of the construction and great for oven use while making a fritata. For the price, you can't go wrong.
