I received this set last Christmas from my husband. The price is outstanding for the number of knives and the cutting board is a nice plus. Now it's April, so for three months these have been my go to knives. Outstanding. I can slice very thin and the cutting board is really nice to have. Peeler is great too. I don't use conventional knives anymore, just these. I've bought two more of this set to give as Christmas gifts this December. Buy this, you won't be sorry. But watch it, these knives are sharp and it's easy to cut yourself.

i have not had the knives long, so kinda hard to rate them. i do like them so far. but i bought mine 12-31-11 at sam's club for 29.88. same exact set. hope they last a long time.

Cuisinart 8 Piece Ceramic Knife Kitchen Prep Set with Cutting Board - Red
I received these knives as a gift from my wife. I do a heavy amount of cooking and have drawers full of knives. This set has replaced all of my favorite ones leaving no comparisons. They are unreal-sharp, and slice through anything with ease. They seem to be much more sturdy than your typical ceramic knife, but I like them so much I am not going to put that part to the test. They come with a 5-year warranty, so feel free to test their durability!
Note: These knives are especially effective for cutting meats. It makes cubing/slicing chicken breast, pork, or beef a much more simple task than it has ever been. You literally only need the weight of your hand to make cuts, no extra force necessary. ENJOY!

Too large for medium sized hands!
Although they cut well through soft veggies, etc, they are definitely not made for steaks, or other hard items and the handles are too wide for my medium sized hands to hold... Read more
