Measuring cups don't really seem like something on which you would even think to write a review. However, I really like these for several reasons. They nest tightly; the sides are straight and it's easy to use a knife to top off for exact measuring; the handles are comfortable; they clean up nicely in the dishwasher; they are wide and bottoms flat making it easy to measure ingredients and just sit the cup on the counter without worrying it will tip over; AND the markings are large so I don't need glasses to see what size cup it is. Very nice thing to have in the kitchen. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I figured after 10 years or so, it wouldn't hurt to replace some of the "basics" in my kitchen. That's what I did and was happily surprised to find that this Cuisinart set has a great "feel" to it and comes out of the dishwasher in fine shape.

This product is strong, durable, RED with white print, legible, and overall, a well made product. If the review ended there, then the product would have a 5 star review....but unfortunatly, the description does not state that the cups do not stay together. the leveler allows the cups to come apart too easily. I like having them neatly kept together so i dont end up losing the pieces in my drawer. The leveler is a good idea though, i enjoy the fact that i dont need a knife to do that job, but i really wish it were attached to the rest of the set. (or there were another ring keeping them attached. )

These measuring cups look great. The only thing I would suggest is that they could be a bit thicker so the handles would not bend at all if you are scooping something stuck.

I bought these cups to replace cheaper, older measuring cups at my summer house. The price was right and I have trusted the Cuisinart brand for many years. These cups appealled to me, as they were red. When I received the cups I was a little dismayed as to the use of the ring attaching the cups, not realizing that it was a leveler and threw it away. A knife works just as well, if you really need to level a measurment and it doesn't get lost in the drawer. The cups themselves are fine, but the handles are a bit flimsy. If you are measuring something heavier, they flex and I fear them breaking off. It has not happened though. They are holding up great in the dishwasher as well. Overall I like them, but I like my heavier stainless steel cups from William Sonoma best.

It is, in fact, odd to write a review of such a small, even trivial, set of tools such as these. But they are in fact a pleasure, an unexpected pleasure, because of their quality, color, and design. They remind you, each time you use them, that cooking is a pleasure, an art -- and that the pleasure of it lies not just with the finished product but with the process itself.

I bought these right after I got married and 15 months later and lots of use including washing them in the dishwasher, they are still going strong!

Looks nice, and does the job of measuring stuff. It's exactly what you expect. The writing on there, however, is not durable. I've had this less than a week or two, and the writing is already wearing out.

These measuring cups have made baking so much easier for me. They are wider and not as tall as the measuring cups they replaced. This makes them more stable on a counter top and they slide well into the mouth of the containers I keep my flour and sugar in. The leveler is extremely handy and I appreciate the wide handles on the cups which makes the grip feel more substantial. I haven't dropped one yet which happened on more than one occasion with my last set that had very skinny handles. This can be tragic when watching your last cup of brown sugar fall all over the floor.

I got what I ordered, they work great, and color is nice deep red.

I did think the cups would be on a closed ring, but they don't, they are connected by open hook that is also extension of the leveler, not a big deal but I would have prefered the closed ring version... but still great cups, do the job so, look nice, so they get 5 star from me.
