I bought this non-stick pan for use in making Chinese food. It is not only GREAT for stir frying, but especially for fried rice. Since the interior is non-stick, I don't have problems with the rice sticking like in other pans I have tried. However, I use this pan for much more than just Chinese cooking. I have used it to saute' potatoes, squash, and even cook omelets. It is all purpose pan.

Also, I have never had a pan come out of the dishwasher looking as great as this one. Mine still looks brand new and I have washed it many times. The exterior mirror-like surface is still beautiful and the non-stick surface looks as though I have been washing it by hand. I LOVE this pan for its versatility and ease of care. I would recommend it highly.

I hadn't had the chance to use this pan when we had our little quake a couple weeks ago and my pot rack came lurching out of the ceiling, dumping all my pans on the floor. This one was on the bottom of the pile (landed on a hard tile floor)and it didn't even get a scratch! In the weeks since, I seem to be reaching for it practically every night no matter what I cook. From crepes to stirfry to bolognese sauce, it works like a champ and is supremely easy to wash; it really does just wipe clean. Best of all, it's at least half the weight of any of my other pans--my arthritic wrists are awfully happy. Capacity-wise, I'd say it tops out at 4 to 6 portions. The brochure in the box cautioned against using high heat, but I haven't had any of the mentioned issues (like food burning) when I crank the temperature.

I bought this stir-fry pan based on some good reviews from a leading consumer magazine. It's a nice-looking pan and has the right weight I prefer. Cleaning is easy too. The major problem with my first pan was the non-stick coating started peeled off just after a couple of monthes. I called Cuisinart and they provided an exchange. Now half a year past and my second pan lost the coating on the bottom again. I just use this pan 2 or 3 times a week and I don't know whether I should call Cuisinart again or start shopping for a different brand.

Very disappointed by the quality of the non-stick coating, it wore off after a few months of use and this is despite carefully handwashing the pan.

This is a good product but smaller than expected. Picture can be deceiving--this is not a wok (think at least 12.5" to 13" for a typical wok).

I purchased this based upon a review in a leading consumer magazine. It came in a set with an 8 inch pan. Both are highly recommended. We run them through the dishwasher and after several months of daily use, they still look new. They are great to cook with!

I use this to cook most of my meals. We have a small size family (2 people), so the size of the pan is perfect. It's very convenient to use and clean. It's light and the food doesn't stick. My only complain is that the handle gets hot after cooking on the stove for a while.

This piece has all of the features that you could want in a skillet. It is beautiful. It heats well. The non-stick surface is REALLY non-stick. It is stainless - not aluminum. You can put it into the dish washer, but it is so easy to wipe clean, why bother?

I highly recommend this frying pan!

This is an excellent pan! been using is EVERYDAY for heavy duty cooking of chinese food! Highly recommend! Just wash with soft sponge! Buy it! Great price!
