Inevitably one have makes cakes, that are assembled in multiple parts. Multiple bowels are very helpful.

I love my mixer but I have only one and would sometimes find myself wishing for an extra bowl to use just for whipping egg whites or to do frosting in without having to clean the bowl right away. I bought this with the intention that it would be my extra bowl BUT I ended up switching it in as the primary one. The older bowl that came with my mixer always seemed a little out of alignment and the paddle would sometimes scratch it. Not so with the newer bowl. Very happy with it.
