REFILL SPONGES?????,
By memyself&i (Brown City MI) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Cuisinart Self Soaping Sponge (Kitchen)
Although I love using this product because it cleans well, and the soap dispenses well, and it doesn't leak soap like many others, unfortunately the sponge has come apart from the pad rather quickly. To make matters worse, I cannot find the refill sponges anywhere, even cuisinart's website!!

Not worth the box it came in,

It never cleaned well and it leaked soap constantly when not in use. The sponge would often fall off while washing, and in the end the tip just fell apart, with no possibility of obtaining a replacement.
Don't waste your money

I only used this product a few times, and found the replacement sponges so I ordered them as well, since other reviewers couldn't find them. Anyway, the soap leaked out from the first use, and the sponge would constantly fall off during use. Now the little plastic tabs that are supposed to hold the sponge on broke off completely. Now, all I have is the extra sponge refills with no brush. Sorry that I bought this product. I ordered it because it was pink, which was its only good thing.

i bought this to go with everything else i have in my kitchen that's baby pink from cuisinart & kitchenaid - both companies have high quality kitchenware so i thought the cleaning items would be too. i was way off on this one - it leaks soap all the time, i can never get the top to click and STAY in place. when you wash a dish with it it comes unsnapped and then you end up with an empty dish sponge handle and a counter-full of soap. incredibly disappointed in this, i'm just going to stick to the cheap but working ones i buy at the grocery store.

cannot find replacement sponge....,

Like a previous reviewer, I love the tool. I just can't find a replacement for the sponge head. Therefore, it's useless once the sponge needs to be replaced.
Please, someone help me find the replacement part!

Its true! Read the other reviews. This janky tool leaks soap ALL OVER the place, and the head never seems to stay on! I thought this would compliment my pink kitchen nicely, but it ended up BREAKING after only three uses (I had to refill it - yes - after only three uses because it leaked and wasted soap all over my sink, and when I -gently- untwisted the head, the plastic ridge on the handle simply broke off, rendering it completely useless and a total waste of money). I have a dishwasher and really had little need for this tool, I'm so surprised how it literally just fell apart when I'd barely even touched it, much less used it on any dishes. I hardly even cook! Its not like I was using to scrub massive baked-on messes. Don't ask me why it has the hanging hole at the base of the handle for air-drying - leaving this cheap tool in a vertical position will give you a pool of dish soap on your countertop. Before it broke I even just tried leaving it in the sink horizontally and it STILL leaked. I thought I had the sponge on wrong, or that it was loose... I checked and checked and tightened all it would go; the mechanics of the inner chamber is just so poorly made. I am so incredibly disappointed especially because the aesthetic was so darn cute. I love Cuisinart and have never had an issue with any of their products except for this one.

I had a smaller sponge which wore out after eight years of daily use and replaced it with this one which is bit lager, hopefully it will last.
