I'm a true believer in buying the exact replacement parts for my appliances. Of course there are inexpensive knockoff replacements but why run the risk of the unknown on a kitchen tool or something you rely on for convenience? Saving a few bucks isnt worth the potential hassle and inconvenience of having to return or re-buy at a later date.

this really comes in handy having an exctra one. i was a little dissapointed that a spare scraper did not come with it.
