To avoid scratching while caring for your grill, use wood, plastic, or silicone tools, and always allow the surface to cool before cleaning. Unplug the power cord and remove temperature knob; do not immerse these in water. If placing the grill plate in the dishwasher, rinse the surface prior. Do not use abrasive materials such as steel wool or scouring pads. After cleaning, dry thoroughly before next use.

It Look as pictured, and it is just as stated. The food comes out very good. The only thing that I wish is that the cord was longer. I am very happy with the Chi Cuisine Ceramic Grill.

Getting the grill put together was a bit difficult as there were no instructions and some of the connections were clumsy to manuever. I do like the portablity of the grill. Right now it is in my kitchen and I can easily move it from where I store it to where I cook with it. The grill surface is much easier to clean than the famous name grill. The grill surface produces a nice grill pattern on the food. The ChiCuisine Grill is a nice alternative to the charcoal or gas grill just wish there was the wood smoke flavor when I am ready to eat the food.

The accompanying directions are vague and wrong. Nowhere is it mentioned that the power cord must sit in a holster to trigger the safety switch. If you want to use the grill as a tabletop-the power cord and holster are higher than the grill legs so you need to prop the grill up. The cord does not lock into the holster so you have to devise a way to keep them together. Altogether, very disappointing. I would not purchase anything from this company again
