Product Description

Ceramic knives are at the forefront of cutlery technology. Forged from zirconia - a material second only to diamonds in hardness - the resulting blade is extremely durable and unbelievably sharp. They retain their cutting edge longer than steel blades, and will not rust, stain, or oxidize. As a result, ceramic knives are also dishwasher safe, something no steel blade can claim. This Cuisine de France 6-inch ceramic chef knife comes with a sheath for protection and safe storage.

Purchased this to replace a ceramic knife I accidently broke. Although the blade is very sharp, the handle is uncomfortablely thin and straight. I prefer the contoured handle of the previous ceramic knife I bought in CVS ( of all places). This one will end up sitting in a drawer collecting dust.

I use this knife to cut fruit, vegetables and sandwiches. It has not been abused and I already see chips on the edge. It's getting duller by the day. At first it was great but now it's just like any other knife. Maybe another maker makes a better ceramic blade. Boo Hoo.

I use this knife all the time. It is my go to knife. Stays sharp and I like that it has a cover!
