We have visited one Christkindlmarkt after another in Germany, Austria and Prague, savoring the incomparable experience of sipping Gluhwein in the bitter cold. This package is the closest we have come to duplicating the authentic taste in the simplest fashion: just adding water, sugar and wine to this amazing spice bag. Unless you really wish to hunt up all the ingredients and try to get the balance right on your own, buy this wonderful ready-made packet.

I am impressed with the quickness, and the personalization of the service...real people ..communicate with we who purchase...I would recommend this business in a heartbeat.!!!! and the product is the absolutely delicious!!!

This product made an amazing warm spiced wine (GLOW - WINE) for a family ski trip. It was easy to prepare ahead, and served from a coffee pump pot. The spices were a smooth delightful blend. I will be buying this product again, for myself and for gifts.

I've traveled in Germany many times, and have enjoyed their Gluhwein many times.
My father-in-law recommended this brand, that he'd had in Scandanavia, and I must say it's even better that the German version!
I served it (mixed with German sweet red wine) to a NATO officer living here, and he admitted he'd only once tasted a version as good.
I suppose if you had the recipe, you could make the stuff at home for less money - but good luck finding a recipe this good!

Gluhwein is a staple in Germany during the cold months. Freshly brewed, steaming hot, the blend of spices and warm wine invigorates the entire body. This spice blend, once blended, is as close as you can get to strolling down ancient streets in quaint European towns and savoring the holiday season.

This mixture of spices is not worth the money. Between the spices and the wine you have to buy....you could create your own warm wine receipe with honey/cloves and cinanaman out of your own pantry

I doubled the sugar and added a cup of apple cider to the Gluhwein recipe. Tasted just like it did when I was stationed in Germany. I used a cheap Galo Merlot as my wine base. Great product
