I had the wooden one and it grew mold after a while. This is great and can put it in the dishwasher. A must have in the kitchen.

This is SO much easier to use than that old fashioned glass citrus juicer I'd been using--easier to use, to wash, to store. Seriously, this is one of the best purchases I've ever made--it works fabulously and is SO easy to clean (especially compared to the wooden ones or to my old glass kind!)
