What a hunk of junk!,

The delivery of this product was prompt and the company provided a working tracking number, so that was nice. Also, the item fits my Le Creuset fondue pot perfectly, so I was very happy about that as well.Unfortunately, the quality of this product left A LOT to be desired. More specifically, the top and bottom of the main body barely fit together. Also, both of these pieces and the cover looked liked they'd been stamped out by the most disgruntled and incompetent employee of a third-rate, third-world sweatshop. No one even bothered to polish the darned thing! Luckily, all that I needed was the core. Hence, I switched the core out of the burner that came with my fondue pot and threw the other pieces of the ordered burner directly into the trash. I'm happy in that I can safely make fondue again. However, I think that the $34.25 I paid (including shipping) for the replacement burner was nothing short of highway robbery. This item is worth, TOPS, five bucks. If you can find a burner anywhere else, go for it! |
