Not a lot to say about this other than it's well made and makes a pretty good - and a lot less expensive - china cap replacement. The mesh is finer than I expected. The only "bad" thing about this is that it's very deep and won't fit into any standard kitchen drawer. Chances are that you will probably have to hang it up for storage. But since I was looking for a good-sized stainer without having to pay the china cap prices, I am very satisfied with the functionality of this strainer.

I WOULD give this 5 stars, because it really was great straining fine particles, but it didn't last. See pictures on product page--one side became open. Less than 3 mos. of use...return window expired on Aug 28, 2011. That's why I give 2 stars only.Cuisipro 7" Cone Shaped Strainer

I bought this strainer because the other review described it as having finer mesh than expected. Just what I was looking for - something fine enough to rinse quinoa without having the small grains slip through the mesh. It works perfectly for that purpose.
