I really like the appearance of this stainless-steel canister. Since I received it only yesterday as a gift, I can't yet vouch for the effectiveness of the canister at preserving the flavor of coffee beans (my intended use). However, I can say that the sticker that's affixed to the exterior took a lot of effort to remove. I soaked it in water overnight but noticed no difference in the outcome. I eventually bought some commerical stain remover (Goo Gone) that took the sticker stuff off. It was a big disappointment to spend 10-15 minutes removing a display sticker from a new purchase. I'll comment later on the practicality of the canister.
