5.0 out of 5 stars Extra jars are a must!
I received the Donvier Yogurt Maker as a gift. Having extra jars on hand allows me to make another batch of yogurt while I still have a jar or two in the refrigerator. This way, I never run out!

2.0 out of 5 stars I like glass ones so much better
Have both these and glass yogurt containers. Give me the glass hands down any time any where. The lids that screw on and off with the glass ones just seem to function better and easier. These may take up a tad less room in your fridge as they are narrower and taller over all but glass seems cleaner and I can't say enough good things about the glass jars. Also I will reach...

Also I will reach for the kerr or ball 4 ounce regular lid jars when I need an extra yogurt jar or two over these once again. I find the plastic lids on the acrylic jars hard to remove without disturbing the yogurt. Yes I like my yogurt with a firm non stirred up texture. Otherwise it goes into smoothy style drinks and it doesn't matter. Each to their own but glass is my cup of yogurt and choice...these plastic ones now sit down in the dark basement shelf...waiting quietly at least. PS you can get plastic screw on caps for all regular canning jars and also most mayo plastic lids fit them as well. But by all means MAKE YOGURT no matter what your preferences of tools be.

Easy to use. After I make the yogurt I put it in the yogurt cheese maker for a couple hours to make it a bit thicker. And it takes the tangy taste out too.

I like having a second set of jars because I can make another batch without having to use up the first batch.

5.0 out of 5 stars These do NOT fit the Aroma yogurt maker, October 4, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Cuisipro Donvier Yogurt Maker Jars, Set of 8 (Kitchen)
I'd been waiting for a response from Aroma about how to buy more cups when I saw these. When they arrived, I found that they're very similar to the Aroma design, but a smidgen too wide to fit into the maker. (The up-side is that Aroma is only back-ordered and theirs are $10 for 8, so...)

It looked like these would fit, but no go; These do NOT fit in the Aroma yogurt maker! Still, good products.

I'd prefer glass, but the only real problem with plastic is that it's hard to get the last of the yogurt out of the bottom edges of the cups. I end up using a lot of sprayed water in addition to a bottle sponge.

PS: Aroma did eventually get back to me, and sent me a set of 8 cups for $10 + $5.49 for shipping.

2.0 out of 5 stars Seller ***** quality*, October 3, 2010

This is my 3rd set of jars with covers for Donivier Yogurt maker in 5 years. I have no problems with yogurt maker or jars, but covers!!! They keep cracking all the time no matter how gentle you are with them. I wish I could replace only those cheap covers but I have to purchase those expensive jars as well!!! I hope some day this company will became smarter and 1. improve the quality of the covers or 2. starts to sell those practically disposable covers separately for $2 a set!

These storage containers are PERFECT, although I did not purchase them for the Cuisipro machine. I have a machine that makes yogurt in one big container but these jars are PERFECT for portioning and storage--my kids can grab a container of yogurt and go! Very durable, top rack dishwasher safe, and very versatile. I would buy two sets so that you always have yogurt on hand.

5.0 out of 5 stars These are great for making yogurt...., January 27, 2007

easy to clean...easy to use...easy to store! I have a few sets so I can have plenty of yogurt on hand. The yogurt maker that these go with is the best!!! The cups seal very nicely. I also learned that when making yogurt in the yogurt maker to not seal the caps tightly...just lay on top during the processing. The yogurt is less runny that way. I suggest that when you get the yogurt maker you should buy a couple of jar sets too! They are also great for making jello and pudding. Then you can just throw them in your kids lunch!

I bought these as a second set for my Deni yogurt maker because my fiance was worried about me taking the original glass jars to work (and so he could have his own set). These jars are more durable than the glass ones and have better fitting lids so they don't leak. They are a little taller than the original jars so the lid of the yogurt maker doesn't fit quite right. I cover it with a kitchen towel to keep it warm and the yogurt turns out fine.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Satisfied, February 21, 2007
This review is from: Cuisipro Donvier Yogurt Maker Jars, Set of 8 (Kitchen)
The Cuisipro Donvier Yogurt Maker Jars, Set of 8 are excellent because when I still have a couple of jars of yogurt left to use, I can start another lot of yogurt, or progurt. I use progurt culture, and am very satisfied.
