This is a great little sifter! It is so easy to scoop the contents up from a container and it is in the sifter. No pouring or trying to fill the sifter and creating a mess! The only downside is that if you fill the sifter too full and put it on the side of the bowl or if it is uneven, some of the unsifted contents will spill out. It is so easy to clean too! The sifter is not very large, so you can only sift about 1-2 cups at a time. I would highly recommend this for a new cook or if children are going to be helping out with the cooking process! It does a good job on powdered sugar too!

Love the look of this sifter, however it needs help with direction. the flour tends to go every where but in the cup. If you use one hand it is even worse.

So easy to use and easy clean up. We are slowly replacing what we lost in a hurricane so tried this sifter and it is great!

My 15 yr.old is starting to enjoy cooking and baking. My sifter is from my grandmother and is a bit awkward to handle and the flour gets EVERYWHERE. This one works smoothly and there is less mess all over the place. It does the job.

I wanted a sifter that had only one layer of screens on it. My old one had several layers and stuff would get stuck between the screens.

What surprised me was how nice it handles. It is better than any other one I have used.

Looks exactly as it should. Works great! Now I can trash my old metal one which I have hated forever!

I don't know why I waited so long to purchase a smaller sifter (I have a huge stainless steel sifter, which is just too big for most of the sifting that I do.) This little sifter is great for sifting flour. I measure the flour before I put it into the sifter and it really takes less than 3 cups. Found that sifting two cups at a time works the best for me. Clean up is easy - just was and dry it, then let it sit in the dish drainer to make sure it is nice and dry. Then put it away until your next use. Doesn't take up much space, like my other big sifter does. Great sifter, great price -- what more can I say!

This sifter is well made. But you don't want to scoop up too much at once or it will kick the unsifted four out the top. Also it is best for finer flours. And if you have pain in you hands like me I would not recommend. Other wise if you are very active in the kitchen and need something that will work quickly this is a nice item to have.

I don't use it to measure (as it says you can) as it is a bit awkward to handle that way. I also have to hold it just right to get it to sift correctly and it makes a big mess. Overall, way better than the hand crank one I had and I love that this one is okay in the dishwasher.

First of all, don't even bother using this above a blender; the flour will go all over the place.

Even if I use it above a bowl, some of the flour is stuck around the edges of the sifter and I have to shake it every which way to get it where the sifter is. Too messy. I'm returning it.
