I had one of these for about five years, and then the silicone started to flake off, so I pitched it and bought another. I love the size, the fact that it fits easily in the dishwasher, and the design makes it work well for scraping out bowls too.

This type of whisk was featured at a cooking school in New Orleans. The chef used it for her roux. Much more surface than the traditional whisk. Great for gravy!

I had never heard of a flat whisk, but I really like this one and being able to use it on all surfaces is great.

I have owned several versions of non-scratch whisks including this one. All have two major failings. The lessor failing is they wear out in a very short time - usually in less than a year you have metal showing through the nylon and out goes the non-scratch feature. But the worst problem with these is the designers all seem to think it important to have a heavy handle which makes in nearly impossible to keep from flipping out of the sauce pan and throwing a spray of sauce around the kitchen.

After many tries I finally gave up and just let my stainless pans scratch. These whisks aren't worth the mess.

A nice large silicone coated whisk that scrapes all the sides of the pan without scratching the nonstick surface.

I use it on our lovely Calphalon Stainless Steel pots. This whisk works like a charm. I've dropped it a few times and it has kept its form and didn't break. Will be buying a few more of these in different sizes!

I am very pleased with this flat silicone whisk. I use it to stir my sourdough starters as well as gravies and sauces. It does a great job of "clump busting" and quickly gives the starters, gravies and sauces a smooth and even consistency. I wish I'd purchased a flat whisk a long time ago.

I love whisks!!! I try to go low-tech as much as I can so use whisks a LOT. The whisk I used for non-stick pans was needing replaced. I looked at Walmart but everything was too big so I looked here and found this. The handle is just the right size and weight, the coated tins work great and so easy to clean. I especially love this for sauces.

I was wanting a smaller whisk and this one is perfect. I also like the way it is shaped because you can get around the sides of the pan that the round whisks do not reach. I have a larger one I use for bigger jobs. Also I like that it is coated and will not ruin my teflon coated pans. Very pleased with my purchase.

I've used this more than I ever thought I would, mixes and blends well, doesn't scratch - just great. Bought one for both daughters and my sisters.
