Cuisipro Stainless-Steel Measuring Cups and Spoon Set

...until they were given to me as a gift. Now I would not be without them. The shape alone makes them worthwhile, especially for the spoons. Think spice jars. Plus they are also very sturdy...the handle of the measuring cup will not bend back or break off as you're digging into hardened brown sugar,etc. You can melt butter in them and it won't easily scorch. Fantastic! Did a woman design these????

This set of measuring cups and spoons is absolutely perfect. The price is a real bargain too.

The oval shape is ingenious. It is a LOT easier to get the oval cup or spoon into containers. If I needed to get a cup of flour out of my flour canister, I had to be so much more careful with the round cup or else I'd spill the flour all over the place. It's a lot easier to get into spice containers and other small containers as well.

It's very heavy duty. Heavy duty and great quality. This is important because then I can melt butter in the 1-cup. A lot of time I have to pull out and measure out a cup of something anyways, and then - instead of pulling out a pot or something to melt butter, I can just dump the butter into the 1-cup, put it over the burner, and have nice melted butter in moments. When I do this, the bottom does not get damaged or scorched in any way and the handle doesn't even get hot (this is under low heat). This makes it one less thing to wash during clean up.

I can think of plenty of pros and no cons. These have definitely replaced all my old measuring cups and spoons. I would highly recommend this set!!

These measuring cups and spoons are definitely a heafty design. They will not bend in brown sugar like most medal measuring utensils. Worth the price! The cups are heavy though, so be prepared for that. The oval design allows the cups and spoons to fit into boxes and spice jars for scooping. I have been completely satisfied with mine and expect to have them for a lifetime, that is if my 10 month old doesn't lose them during playtime in the kitchen :).

I have purchased many different brands of measuring spoons and cups in the past but these are by far the best! Heavy (but not too heavy to use) so the handles don't bend (or float around in the dishwasher), shaped well so they fit into containers and spice bottles easily, easy to level and the measurement markings will not fade away (they are engraved). I love my set...will definately buy another set (cooking is my hobby).

Has all the most commonly used sizes, plus the option of adding other measurement sizes from Cuisipro. Different style than what is offered in the chain stores

I purchased this for a gift, it is better quality than what I have in my kitchen. It is very heavy stainless steel, smooth and very well weighted.

Once I opened the box and saw the cups/spoons, I knew I had made the right purchase. The set is much heavier than other sets I saw at expensive specialty shops. And of course there is the shape and design. I admit the price is a mental hurdle, but I would be shocked if you didn't have these for a lifetime. Why settle and then buy another set later on? Do it once and get the right ones the first time!

I had a hard time convincing myself that measuring cups and spoons could be worth this price, but the shapes were so innovative and -- well, logical -- that I succumbed. The measuring cups are not measuring cups; they're cooking utensils of the finest quality. Imagine tiny but heavy stainless steel saucepans, and you've got it. In addition, neither the cups nor the spoons are "tip-able". Genuis design and impeccable craftsmanship are the words to use for these welcome additions to my kitchen.

My daughter said she wanted a good set of measuring cups and spoons for Christmas. I did research and Cuisipro got top reviews. She loves the weight and shape of these cups and spoons. I bought this 9 piece set for a great price and the seller was very prompt in shipping them out.

Straight out of the box, these cups and spoons are pretty phenomenal. The cups are hefty (I feel like I could do some serious damage with the one cup measure if I had to!) and long-handled. They are larger than what I'm used to--due to the oval shape and the long handle--but I'm sure I'll eventually get used to it.

The only thing that held me back from a five-star review is that the spoons are *definitely* tippable. The clever handle that makes the spoon sit level paired with the rounded bottom makes for a pretty wicked wobble. All it takes is a small nudge to slosh out liquid measurements. But honestly, I can't think of a time where I've actually left a full spoon on the counter, so this shouldn't be a problem.

Great set for a great price otherwise.
