As a Registered Dietitian I have searched for a gluten-free cookbook that would provide easy recipes for soups, entrees, vegetables, comfort foods and desserts.

From front to back this cookbook is no less than a masterpiece. The sub-title says it all: "Let your restrictions set you free". Whether you have serious food allergies or just want to restrict intake of gluten, dairy, sugar or soy products you will find many solutions here. This is a new book so I have actually made and eaten only a handful of the recipes. They were easy to follow and very tasty. I look forward to making many, many more. Following are some of my list of points to consider:

1. The book is very artistic and attractive to look at with good color pictures of each recipe.
2. The paper quality is very good with the type of binding that allows you to leave the book open flat at any page.
3. Full nutritional information on every dish is included.
4. This is largely a vegetarian and even vegan book with one chapter on chicken. No tofu.
5. The layout and table of contents for each chapter makes it super easy to browse for something you want to eat.
6. The recipes are easy to follow and (so far) turn out as expected.
7. This is full of fun, interesting foods that you probably didn't think you could eat, made possible. (There is a picture of a cupcake right on the cover after all.)
8. The chapter on bento boxes is worth reading just for fun, even if you never make them. Very cute, very creative. I have a friend with small children who makes bento boxes for their lunches and they love to eat healthy food because it looks like fun.
9. Yes, this is mostly health food (with a lot of fun thrown in) so some ingredients may be more expensive or found only in health food grocery stores. Most ingredients are common.
10. The cakes and desserts are moist and plenty sweet. No cardboard here!
11. This is not just fun and comfort type food.

The recipes in this book are creative and well thought out. The recipes are accurate and delicious. I've given this book as gifts to several people, one of whom is a professional chef/caterer with clients who have food restrictions and has been well received.

May I introduce you to the wonderful cookbook: Culinary Creativity by Dawn Allen (who authors the blog Cuter Than Gluten). Let me tell you what this cookbook is all about here right off the bat and what you'll find. All 110 recipes found in this cookbook are gluten free, dairy free, cane-sugar free, soy free, baker's yeast free, and nightshade free (and 105 of the recipes can be corn free). Oh yes, that's right. Dawn has created an amazing cookbook for those of us who eat an alternative diet AND for those of us who love amazing food. I don't know if there is another cookbook out there like this? Let me tell you, I'm so glad Dawn came along and created one. THANK YOU DAWN!

Okay, let's get started. If you're interested, click here: [...] to view pictures and commentary of the many recipes I made form this amazing cookbook. I didn't plan on making so many, but they all looked so delicious, easy and with very few ingredients. I've already adopted many of her recipes into my weekly dinner, lunch, and snack rotation. Her cookbook also includes a bunch of delectable desserts, but I am always desperate for lunch and dinner ideas. So I focused on these recipes.

Here are just a few reasons why I love this cookbook:

1. Every single page is in COLOR (I just love that)
2. Each recipe comes with a picture (also love that)
3. Every recipe has full nutritional content (listed in the back in Appendix II) - so you know the calories, fat, fiber, sugar, etc., of each recipe (that's pretty awesome).
4. Each recipe comes with notes or fun stories about Dawn's travels and culinary inspirations.
5. The recipes are easy to make and the instructions are easy to follow and every page is nicely organized. It's compact and easy to handle.
6.

From the minute I opened the package I couldn't stop reading this book... the photos are great and make you want to keep turning and reading :)

I've tried several of the recipes so far and all are easy to follow, but most importantly delicious. Several have already become family favorites... even for those people in the family who are not on allergy restriction diets!

I've bought two copies of this book as gifts for friends with food restrictions... this book has definitely helped me get out of my comfort-zone of cooking!

It is so refreshing to own a cookbook from which I can actually eat almost every recipe. I found this book to be well-organized and beautifully laid out. Although a few of the ingredients are a little pricey, I find most of the recipes simple and quick enough for daily meals. I especially love Dawn's extra tips and anecdotes throughout the book! I am also impressed with the quality of the paper, printing and photography.
