I've previously owned the type of filter where you have to remove the casing, scrub it, leave bleech in it for what feels like forever, grease the "O" ring, etc. etc. What a hassle for some clean water. This product is sooooo much easier to use - you can change the filter in minutes. Highly recommended.

great filter easy to install, works perfectly. TIP: I called culligan, you do not have to change the filter until the water flow slows. the blinking light is just a timer that acts a reminder (we remove the battery on ours). Our filters last over a year.

Water tastes great, it's easy to install and replace, price is convenient too.

Water runs slowly after a while. Mine has never gotten close to 500 gallons of water (it's already a third cartridge), had to replace it much earlier. And they say the tap water in NYC is good.

Love the product. I can definitely tell the different before and after install the product. The water taste much better. It's very easy to install, just a little pain on making the whole on the sink. Other than that it's very very awesome and very reasonable.

This is a good filter but it constantly leaks. I've changed the filter head and the filters themselves several times and it still leaks.

I went through two of the EZ-3 in like 3 weeks but the EZ-4 doesn't clog in the same manner. We got almost 5 months of water filtration out of the last one and I expect this one to be about the same.

We have had this unit for about a year and a half and have carefully replaced the filters four times. We initially loved the "easy snap in" change and all was well - the 4 level filter seems to do a great job and we didn't notice much restriction; each lasted about 5 months. This week's replacement was different, though - we woke up to a HUGE flood in our kitchen with a ton of damage. Came back here and saw a number of other people have had the same problem. I can't quite see if it's the main part or the filter, but it sounds like it might be a breakdown of the base (although we don't see any cracks, but can see the leaks and drips all around the top part.) This should not be happening after only a year and a half.

Has anyone contacted Culligan? I have emailed them and will update this review if I hear back.

Great filter until it leaked about 4 months of use the plastic housing cracked. Spraying water everywere. Thankfully we were home to manually hut the valve off

Good filter but... Does a great job of cleaning water but the plastic filter case cracked after only 28 days of use and flooded our kitchen !

I really like these filters. Beautiful clean water and very easy to change. I originally bought the kit and I must say the faucet was very poor. After replacing it twice in a year and a half, I finally purchased a third party all metal faucet from Amazon. The reviewers of the kit have reported coming home to flooded kitchens. I was lucky. The first time I came home to water trickling around the top and running down the drain. The second time it broke in front of me - pop - and it was leaking above and below. I wasn't even using it at the time. I shut the source off quickly and just had a small mess under sink. The problem is the valve is made of plastic and it splits. I don't recommend the faucet, but Culligan got the filter right. That's what they do.
