This kit is a great value for the price (especially compared to other well-known pitcher and faucet filters)! East to install - the hardest part was drilling a 5/8" hole in the sink. Great filter life.

Difficult to adapt to 3/8 faucet connection, but in the end filters great!,

I may jump this up to four stars if it ever gets installed. The kit comes with a 1/2" threaded adapter; however my fairly new faucet comes with pre-attached hoses which are much smaller. So no where under the sink is there a 1/2" pipe to connect to. So off to the H big box store - a waste of time. Then over to the L big box store - one part which might work but the tube fitting for the "flexible" tube won't fit. So I'm still trying to adapt this to the newer model faucet connections. Frustrating!! Culligan gives an alternate installation using barb fittings, hoses, and clamps. Sorry but I don't do that for any type of perm. plumbing installation.
Time will tell if this even works.... Update! Thanks to Ace Hardware part #4292330 (3/8 to 1/2in. faucet adapter) I was able to attach the Culligan tap to the existing 3/8" faucet connector. Combined with #41251 to adapt the faucet flex cable to the top of the tap the system is now functional - and no leaks! Time will tell about the spout as others have said it broke upon mounting. As for quality - the water is noticeably free of odor and taste that existed without the filter. It does seem better than the Pur filer we had previously on the faucet - and much cheaper since the filters last so much longer. My only headache and reason for lower rating - the stupid tap was a pain to adapt to a standard 3/8" faucet connection.

I purchased the Culligan unit to replace a GE undersink water filter I had been using. The GE filters had a very short life. Already I can see that the Culligan product lasts much longer and the water tastes fine. This is a good alternative to purchasing bottled water. It is handy for cooking also. The install is easy IF you have an extra hole in your sink. In our case we used the squirter hose hole and have an all in one faucet with the hose built in.

After hooking the filter up I noticed a big difference in the taste of the water and it was for the better. The filter itself does deliver and do as it promises. Doing the install was a fairly simple process as well. The one thing I did do right of the bat was change out all the hardware. All the fittings and the faucet stem are all nylon which is not very sturdy. I went to my local hardware store and bought all brass fittings to use. Also I bought another faucet to use instead of the plastic/nylon on that comes with the kit. Even with having to upgrade the hardware the filter does deliver as promises.

I searched the internet for the best deal I could find on a drinking water filtration system. I finally settled on this one. It was relatively easy to install - I have basic homeowner project skills. It works great - water tastes great. I haven't replaced the filter yet.
It did come with a cheap plastic faucet. I did opt for another faucet that Amazon recommended. In hind sight, I think I should have used the faucet that came with the package. It didn't look that bad and the switch to turn on the water isn't spring loaded. At this point, I don't want to take it apart to try the original faucet. Besides, my wife likes it and I learned long ago not to mess with a finished project after is has been "approved."

We ordered this for a small office of about 30 people, to reduce the cost of bottled water. While we did get it installed and are using it, we aren't very happy. The faucet part snapped during installation and we had to go buy a new one, the water flow isn't stellar (takes awhile to fill the coffee carafe), and while the water quality is much better than from the tap, most people prefer the water from our fridge, which also has an inline filter.

I purchased this because my girlfriend and I drink tap water very often. The purification in Toronto, Ontario, Canada is doing a good job but I thought it wouldn't hurt to get an extra filter on top of the tap water. We were using the Brita on tap filter until we moved to new condo unit in sept 2010. The unit came with a pull out faucet which also means I could not use the Brita filter any longer. Procrastinating on the issue, I stumbled upon the Culligan EZ system. Seemed very affordable and I decided to purchase one.
The reviews generally were very good except the suggestion by a lot of people was to get another water faucet, and not to use the one that came with it because it was made poorly. I purchased a Watts 116023 Standard Faucet, Chrome to replace the one that came with it. Had some issues drilling my stainless steel sink, but a little patients paid off. I had to use a 1/8 bit, then 1/4 bit, and finally used a 1/2 bit to drill completely though. The instructions indicate to use a 5/8 or a 9/16 bit, but 1/2 was fine, since I am using Watts Faucet which has a smaller diameter on the side where you insert it in the sink. I purchased a saddle valve from my local hardware store because I wanted the system to have its own cut-off valve in case of any problems. Once everything was installed and set up, I gave it a taste test. I was expecting a huge difference because of the reviews, but it was just a minor difference. The smell has definitely been filtered away compared to tap water. I'm going to give EZ-3 or EZ-4 filter a try next time. We'll see how the filter holds up over the next few months.

I finally tired of lugging Spring Water home from the Market, and having to deal with recycling the bottles. The Culligan Undersink Drinking Water System has solved that problem. Was an easy install, and the water is great! I see that the filters give a long life and are easy to change.
Thanks Culligan.

Not as good as it used to be,

I have used culligan products for years and this one does not measure up. The flow slows down after a month or two of use. After two years of use, it started to leak around the cartridge. Of course it's out of warranty and we have to replace the whole unit.
Would not recommend this one.

Although the item was purchased as used due to an open package, all the necessary parts were included. The installation instructions were clear and concise. Once installed the filter worked very well, eliminating the clorine treated taste from the water. No more bottled water! I just refill my water bottles, take one in the car, and leave a couple cooling in the fridge. Great value!
