Please be forewarned before ordering this book. It is not the textbook. It is only a study guide (hence the low price). The description does not make that clear at all.

I was one of those who was shopping for school books, and come across my Human Geography book, see it in hardcover and then paperback, and of course this on is 50% cheaper. Please realize: THIS IS NOT THE TEXT BOOK, BUT RATHER A STUDY GUIDE DERIVED FROM THE TEXT (The Cultural Landscape).
Now, the only reason I did not give this product a 5-star is because I was technically tricked into buying it with a terrible Amazon detail page of it, but it is rather a useful book. This is a study guide that basically highlights about 30 important excerpts from a very long chapter (around 40 pages per chapter), and condenses a whole chapter into around 5-6 pages. All vocabulary words are defined and in boldface type, right in front of your eyes. Overall a good investment. After about a week in class, I decided to get the text book along with the study guide nevertheless.

i felt ript of. i thought that the book was the book i need it not thte study guide. when i tried to sell the book as an exchange the cashier said that the book was only worth at the most $4.00 I was shocked because i paid about $35.00. Now i had to buy the text book, and keep the book the book that was worth more than it cost.
