This is a 2 disc set that portrays the traditional music from Ecuador and Bolivia featuring Nanda Manachi, and Savia Andiana & Sukay. The record was compiled to display the cultural diversity of world music tht is being performed by prominent artists of recent years. And it is by far one of the best World Music CD's I have listened to ever. Apparently the Native American Music Awards thought so too and it won its category World Music over six other choices.
The first Disc has 21 cuts from Ecuador /Nanda Manachi
The second Disc has 20 cuts from Bolivia /Savia Andina & Sukay
My favorite disc from this set is the music from Bolivia. Very upbeat with various instruments. Makes you smile and hum along.
