Disguised in this incredibly pleasant and lighthearted package are important and relevant commentaries on our modern society. No topic is spared, but its observations are diplomatic rather than scathing. Singer Chad Crouch croons about the war in Iraq, the flaws of capitalism, gay marriage, Picasso's Guernica and many other relevant subjects. Pleasant south seas guitar carries the tune, while punchy bass and clever keyboard melodies tightly bind their music. All in all, it is a fantastic album that both provokes thought and aids sleep.
