This review is from: Culture Clash (Paperback)
Culture Clash presents complex intercultural communicationstheories and interventions in a simple, direct style, making this anexcellent guidebook for laypersons. Covering such practical topics as dealing with language barriers and value differences among employees, negotiating and analyzing cross-cultural situations, the authors use definitions, case studies and a variety of self-assessment tools to make the material relevant for the day-to-day experience of U.S. American managers.
U.S. domestic and expatriate managers who know their corporate environment, but who are less familiar with multicultural issues, will find this book most useful. While it may provide helpful tools for anyone, it is designed to serve the specific needs of readers from the USA.
