Drawing on everything from Suicide to the Screamers to the fist incarnation of Ultravox (minus the Bowie affetations), this album grafts together seemslessly classic new wave with heavy punk elements. Not quite as good as their debut album and with less industrial freak outs, Culture still is a necessary purchase for those who think everything hip comes out of Williamsburg.
