I've refered to this book (and several others by Robin Pascoe) over the years and its never ceased to make me feel a bit better about what I was going thru or feeling...or make me laugh! The information and her experiences apply to civilians, govt/state dept, and military alike. I've given copies of the book as gifts to friends moving over seas. I've loaned out my copy to new friends who were learning to adjust to new postings and never gotten it back! I had to order a new copy! Totally worth it I'd say!
