He has a PhD in Organizational Behavior and is a sought after speaker with a gift for bringing light to the complex. His clients include companies such as Hyatt Regency, Disney, Exxon, The Norman Vincent Peale Foundation, and many more. He is president of two charitable organizations, serves on the board of several others including the University of North Texas. (Oh, and of course, the president of WooHoo, Inc.) With over 25 years in all facets of retail, he has learned from the best, made his share of mistakes and paid attention along the way.
Matthew is an author of two books - Culturrific! and The Retail Sales Bible (co-authored with retail great Rick Segal). He has a PhD in Organizational Behavior (as Matthew says 'if it gets me the job great, if it loses me the job then "what PhD?") and has written and directed over 150 training videos and DVDs. This includes the award-winning Investigating EQ training DVD produced by Penumbra Group.
The insights Matthew has gathered traveling around the country and working with clients in multiple categories from$10M a year to Fortune 50 companies, are brought to light and made simple to use for audiences of all levels.
