Mr. Cummings Musicianship Is Inspiring,

I really enjoyed this CD. The music had an other-worldly quality to it that is completely original. It made me want to hear more from this composer and learn more about him. I highly recommend it.

Conrad Cummings gives us a mix of politics and music that succeeds in a way such works rarely do. The work on Vietnam is haunting and beautiful at the same time. The painter James Siena's texts for the first two works are smart and devastating.
