After having occasional problems with weevils in flour I purchased three of these in various sizes. End of problem. Very well made.

This unit is extremely efficient in that it is 100% airtight. I've kept chopped greens fresh for over a week, and I'm talking CRISP fresh, without rotting or browning. The design is nearly cubical which is FAR more efficient space wise than the more fashionable rounded or oval styles; all those do is take up room in the fridge but 'look pretty' (pretty stupid I say.) The dimensions fit in between both the shelves in my fridge AND the cabinets in my kitchen perfectly. They stack well and when you are in similar sizes like the 18.5 cup and the 29 cup the lids interchange. Easy washing, the lids are a little involved with the airtight seal and all but definitely worth it for the value. Snapware blows away the other brands. It's lighter, more durable and hands down the best deal for the price and even several prices above. It might take a little getting used to snapping four latches on the lid, but when you see how well it keeps food you'll do it gladly. I usually add a small bit of water in the bottom, a shot glass or less to keep the veggies extra sharp around the edges, since the container is airtight it simply keeps the moisture level up.

OK, but there are better overall values out there. Consider Keep boxes that actually have a handle built in and heavier plastic.
