Love Transposed
by: Piper O'Neal & Chelsy Day

What would you do if your carpenter ignored your requests and painted your walls purple? This fun and high-spirited short, carried the story on a quick ride through the high tempermants of a rich girl and the god-like handy-man with little patience for her attitude.

Although a great story, the chemistry between the characters left me wanting more--not a continued version but a more fleshed out plot. But if I wasn't married, and this is the result of cupid's arrown, harpoon me baby!

Love Potion No. 2-14
by: Pepper O'Neal

I loved this Cupid's snarky, vengeful attitude! Made me laugh.
Love the heroine, but the hero came off as an a$$ on occasion, but I trusted the author and he does redeem himself eventually.

My FAVE line: "First you try to get me to believe in magic, now you're telling me some goofy looking, diaper clad god has been shooting arrows at me."

A heated blend of a cynical cop and a white witch had me thoroughly enjoying this read-once I got over hating the hero. The conflict is rich and keeps the two characters apart. Magic may be the only thing binding them together. Loved this read! This author has much talent, ladies and gentleman.

The Bachelor
by: Heather Hiestand

Loved her heroine, Abbie, right away. She was strong, mature, and a bit flirty too-a real woman!

Fave line: "It's not going to be a pearl necklace kind of date?" he asked.

I mean come on, with lines like that who wouldn't dig into this story! The first 3/4 of the book was made of awesomeness. Loved the almost cougar (33) mentality of Abbie, and the hot younger stud she buys.

The heat runs rampant, and I love that they actually did the nasty on V-Day, but the ending was a little abrupt, forced a little by an over-eager Cupid's help.

The Boss Wore Red
by: Delle Jacobs & SamMaire Ashe

This militant lil cupid reeked all kinds of havoc on this couple.

At first, the only thing I liked about the heroine was her wardrobe. She has some serously mad fashion sense, but she grew on me. Loved the hero!

The author took a country themed story line older than dirt: Wealthy woman, poor cowpoke and made it fresh. I enjoyed this read and especially loved that the horses weren't your average breed.

The Wrong Target
by: Sherry Gloag

Cupid really had his hand in this one. Can two people really fall in love from one heated argument and a two month lapse in seeing each other?

Tina and Ryan found a way. Maybe it's the magical arrow embedded in Tina's desk or just plain old love at first sight. This was a bit of a different breed of romance. The hero and heroine weren't together much, and I really would have liked to see more interaction. I'm glad they found each other in the end.

The Hollywood Hookup
Chelsy Day

This little heroine, Sandra, gave Cupid the most work and I loved it. I have to say, this was probably my favorite out of the set. Hollywood hunks, kick-a$$ heroines, and troubled family backgrounds always make for a great read. There was conflict, sweet resolutions and Cupid's funny arrows tying this piece together and I enjoyed it immensly.

I didn't have a fave line, but I did have a fave scene. But, I won't spoil it for you. If you know me at all, you'll be able to guess once you read it.

CUPID GONE WILD

Overall, this was a great read and a pleasant distraction from the dark I normally immerse myself. Perfect to get my mind in the right place for V-Day. It was produced well, each story felt different and I loved the Cupid's pulling it all together. A contest between Cupids to find out which would be the next leader, lol, great premise. But, I still want to know which one won! I missed that. Or maybe they all did...
