This review is from: Curbside Service: "Change the Way You and Your Horse Think About Each Other" (Paperback)
I would like to strongly recomend this book to anyone looking for a path to refinning and extending your relationship with your horse. Finding a new way to look at your own horsemanship and expect more out of both you and your horse by not accepting the sasquo . To move forward past where you are now. To ask for and expect exceptional.
Donna Petermann & Smokie Arlen Petermann & Deia I just finnished Curb Side Service and wish I had read this book before I began my adventure with Deia my Tennesee Walker. We would have had a completely different relationship. Now we have the tools to create a new and more fulfilling one for both of us. CURBSIDE SERVICE Randy Gassett I had watched a couple of friends with their horses for over a year, mounting from the fence, with their horses siding up to them. I thought, wow, how neat, sure wish my horse would do that. Then, I finally purchased Lauren's book "Curbside Service" this summer but put it down without finishing it. A couple of weeks ago, I was at a training facility with my new horse and saw Lauren. She was teaching a horse to "curbside park". It looked easy, but then I told myself, sure, I'm watching a trainer. I was skeptical, but went home, finished reading the book and then went out the next day to work with my new horse. He would stand to mount from the ground, but would move away when trying to mount from anything else such as mounting block, fence, etc. I climbed up on the fence and within ten minutes, he was curbside parking! Its really amazing how many people have come up to me and asked how I taught my horse to do this. Of course, I refer them all to Lauren's book and website. Thanks Lauren! Randy

Your Book Made It Happen!!,

This review is from: Curbside Service: "Change the Way You and Your Horse Think About Each Other" (Paperback)
My big mare, Summer, brings a smile to my face when she moves her body over to me so I can easily mount. I may climb a fence or a rock or just be on flat ground. She takes responsibility. As I extend the concepts of Curbside Service, our whole relationship changes. It is Summer's job to move her feet (or not) where and when I request. I love our "spirit of willing partnership." Thank you, Lauren, for writing such clear directions that I can take your book and make it happen.

Keepin' It Real!,

This review is from: Curbside Service: "Change the Way You and Your Horse Think About Each Other" (Paperback)
The thing that I love about Lauren's book is that she "keeps it real" and challenges how we think about training. Curbside Service is a quick and easy read that's packed full of inspiration, knowledge and the skills to get you and your horse thinking in the same direction. I can't wait to start practicing with my two year old quarter horse!

Say YES to Curbside Service,

This review is from: Curbside Service: "Change the Way You and Your Horse Think About Each Other" (Paperback)
I wish to give a resounding YES to Curbside Service. Lauren Woodard has written an excellent read for anyone wanting to improve their relationship with their horse and to better percieve the world from a horse's perspective. Lauren's sense of humor and her practical advise has enabled me to laugh now when my horse is "adding points". At the same time my frustration is reduced knowing I have new tools to improve my mare's cooperation. I love showing off our curbside service and look forward to the next book in this series. I continue to recommend it to all my horse loving friends.

This review is from: Curbside Service: "Change the Way You and Your Horse Think About Each Other" (Paperback)
Laurena Woodward's book, Curbside Service, is a must read for those who wish to advance their relationship with their horse. With humor and originality, the author leads the reader into an understanding of what it takes to get the results that are desired by making the request clear and not taking "good enough" for an answer. I highly recommend this book to any one who is looking to have an exceptional relationship with their horse.
