This is an interesting book and I liked it a lot. I think that this book is one of the best for beginning readers because it is not only easy to read, it is informative and interesting. I highly recommend this book.

Simple book, basically for childrens. Anyway I did enjoy it. Does not have in depth information. Only brings a brief biography.

If you are looking for a in depth biography of Marie Curie, look elsewhere.
If you are looking for a scientific look about how exactly the Curie's discovered Radium, look elsewhere. If you are looking for an easy-to-read & very general overview of Marie Curie, her informal education, and how she and her husband kept going through many hardships to isolate the radioactive element Radium, this might be it. It isn't enough on its own for a student who wants facts and details, but will be enough for younger children or those who just like a good story. |
