Lovely, well-written children's book for young school aged kids,

This is a charming story about stuffed animals that get thrown away for a variety of reasons (i.e. Velveteen Rabbit). The illustrations are beautiful and it is a sweet and interesting story. The language is a little sophisticated and it takes place in England so there are some British expressions and words that need some translating. My 8 year old daughter loves it. Definitely a great read aloud story for kids 7-9.
