Gorgeous pictures of an exquisite motion picture. Even seeing how they managed the incredible special effects doesn't take away from the power and beauty of the film.
Just see the movie first, don't spoil it for yourself. The book will be a treasured momento of a stupendous film.
By the way, it's a full-sized, gorgeous coffee table book, a great gift for a favorite film buff - or just someone who adored the movie. ENJOY!

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a film that melds the elements of a great script and special effects into a phenomenal project. Watching the film I was entranced by how the film makers seamlessly applied the cgi with real actors and places. If you loved the film you'll particularly love this beautiful coffee table book. It's packed with beautiful photos, actor and director commentary and a behind the scenes look at the special effects employed in the film. It's a great addition to the library of any fan of modern cinema.

I'm a big Fincher fan and liked this movie a lot, so I bought the book. Unfortunately, it's just a lot of big pictures from the movie with quotes and things like that. There isn't as much new information or behind the scenes stuff as I had hoped. Get it if you're a big fan of Fincher or the movie but otherwise I would skip.

The book is beautifully laid out, much like the film it is an extension of. While not so much a "making of" book, it does stand as a perfect companion to the film. There are pieces throughout the book that show glimpses behind the scenes, but the book plays out more like a long form poem (if that makes much sense). Not heavy reading exactly, but perfect to be pulled off the shelf and flipped through/admired.

I love this book. My friend found it on the street, I know that's bad, but he love the cover shot and when I told him I loved the movie he gave it to me. What is inside is truly amazing. There are great stories from the Director, Actors, Costume and Makeup people. The tissue paper pages are the most magical but this book if filled with beautiful and eloquent quotes that reminisce of the film. I showcase this book on my shelves over any other because it is one of a kind. Get it, read it, love it!

I loved the movie and wanted a way to re-live it before the movie comes out. Because it was based on a short story, this was very limited. The book is beautiful with great pictures and stories about production.
