Just mix and match any number of items or any number of themed sets to meet all your culinary needs. This Curious Chef 27 piece foundation set includes the following items: apron, hat and 2 thumb mitts; cookie cutters, measuring spoon and measuring cup sets; 3 qt mixing bowl, rolling pin, cookie turner, whisk, poly spoon, pastry brush and silicone spatula. It also includes an easy-to-follow recipe on box. It is appropriate for children ages 5+ and conforms to safety requirements of ASTM F963 and CPSIA lead and phthalate limits. This product is BPA free and dishwasher safe.

I purchased this item directly from the manufacturer due to the fact that Amazon was out of stock and it just arrived today. In addition to the foundation set I also purchased the pizza party kit. I was very dissapointed with the pizza party set due to the cheapness of the aprons - I had incorrectly assumed they would be fabric as this set's is. Anyway, I was a bit hesitant to open this set after that dissapointment. I was so happy to see it is all perfect. The apron and mitts are thick and well made. The toque is adorable and the tools are all very well made. They are a bit bigger than I thought they would be - I thought they would be more kid sized however, I do not think this will be too much of an issue. The bowl is absolutely brilliant. In addition to the rubber footed bottom, it has a see through plastic cover with a hole in the center that will allow the child to mix in the bowl and not spill the contents everywhere. Best idea ever! The measuring cups and spoons are a bit of an odd shape - sort of a shallow oval shape. I am trying to figure out if there is a reason they are shaped that way however, I cannot think of one. I really like how the meausements are engraved and color coded on the spoons and cuos so they shan't get washed off and the rolling pin is adorable. The rolling pin is kid sized by the way.
I know out soon-to-be five year old daughter will love this when she opens it. She is already a force to be reckoned with in the kitchen and I know she has been longing for her own kitchen tools. Now, I shall never get her out of my kitchen haha!
