Matthews Delivers a Great Regency,

Gareth Rushton wants to build a hunting box in the country. Miss Easterly-Cummings owns a piece of land he is interested in. He has difficult convincing the eccentric female to sell him her land. He finds a reason to visit her home because her cousin whom she lives with and finds more about her eccentricity. (It did remind me of Heyer's Ventetia)
It is a fun and entertaining book. Every much true to the Regency period and style of writing. It is fairly clean. This book was first published in the 90's but is now available thru kindle.

Loved this book. Got me hooked onto Laura Matthews and made me laugh out loud more than once.
