Lovely CD. The Carbon Leaf songs are amazing. My two year old LOVES the movie and after watching it so many times and enjoying the songs I purchased the CD. Beautiful simple and well written songs that my son and I love. Now I need to hunt down more Carbon Leaf music!

My little man and I love this CD. The first time he heard it, he looked all around trying to find George, because he knows this song is in George's movie. How cute!

I watched the movie with my 4 year old and fell in love with this song when it came up (really great movie too!). I plan to use the song to make a music video of my kids. My only disappointment and reason for 4 stars is that the song is just too short at only 2-1/2 minutes. Other than that the music is beautiful and the lyrics are simple and charming. Just a really sweet song that leaves me wanting more when it ends so soon.

This is a good CD that both adults and kids will like. The highlight for me is definitely Carbon Leaf, particularly the songs Life Less Ordinary and the Friendship song. Check out their albums Indian Summer or Nothing Rhymes With Woman if you like their stuff.

Thank heaven for the option of buying only the MP3 tracks you want. All of the tracks by artists other than Carbon Leaf are, as far as I'm concerned, just filler. I tried to like them, but they just didn't do it for me.

As far as the tracks that are by Carbon Leaf, they are stellar. They are most similar to their style used on Indian Summer, so if you liked that album, you will probably like this one. In fact, a couple of the songs from Indian Summer appear on this soundtrack as well. However, don't be fooled. They are new recordings and are different from the originals, both lyrically and in how they are performed.

To sum up, if you buy the MP3 version, just buy the CL tracks and save money. Otherwise, if you buy the CD, get your skip-button-finger ready. But no matter what format you buy, totally worth it!!!

The album features a nice blend of three elements: the future (singer/songwriter Jackie Greene), the stalwart (indie rock veterans Carbon Leaf), and the classic (Brian Wilson). The stand out track on this release is Jackie Greene's 'Follow That Monkey'. Love it, buy it, enjoy it.

Great new cd chocked with some chestnuts!!!!...where else ya gonna hear a NEW JACKIE GREENE track?....Where else ya gonna hear the HALL OF FAME legend BRAIN WILSON give us a strong version of the oldie CALIFORNIA SUN!!!!!

Worth its weight in GOLD!!!
