5.0 out of 5 stars Yummy Ice cream
My 22 month old son loves to watch Curious George so of course I bought a few books. Out of the 4 Curious George books, this is by far his favorite. He'll ask for it by name. George...Ice cream. Great addition to our book collection.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cute story, but Mr. Herb is too "angry"
My daughter loves Curious George, so I tend to buy any of the George books. This is the first one that disappoints. It does not start off with "This is George. He was a good little monkey and always very curious.". I also feel like Mr. Herb gets a little too angry at George--so I usually just change the story a little for my 2 year olds ears The illustrations are also...

5.0 out of 5 stars Good, September 1, 2008

Good book. It's one of the older George stories and drawings, not one of the newer George stories and drawings.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not the Same Book as Pictured, November 20, 2011

This book is not the same as the one pictured on Amazon. Also, for a used book, still a little dirty. The drawings were a bit disappointing, since it is not the same book you see online.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great!, October 6, 2010

The George books are all awesome! Our 4 year-old son has liked every one, and we've liked them. They're pretty quick and easy reading, takes 3-5 minutes to complete, depending on how long he want's to look at each page after you're done reading them. But they are good, cute stories, just like the shows, he laughs out loud and comments quite a bit as we're reading. If you watch the show and haven't read any of the books before, they are very similar in style and look to each other, as close as a kids book to a kids show can be. No one book has been any better or worse than any of the others, they're all very good. We will probably end up buying them all.

What can you say about this book...it's Curious George! A fun read for my nephew. Simple, fun illustration, and hasn't gotten old from numerous rereads.

My 2 yo loves this book. I read to him since he was 1 and now he would pick up this book, flip the pages, and pretend to read by himself.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ice Cream teaches a good lesson, May 12, 2009
This review is from: Curious George Goes to an Ice Cream Shop (Curious George - Level 1) (Paperback)
I am always tempted to eat delicious ice cream. Curious George is tempted too. In this book George goes to the ice cream store. His curiousity gets him in trouble. Later his creativity at making a sundae draws in new customers. This delicious story helps George learn that you can solve a problem in an exciting way. My favorite part is when he makes a messy. If you like other curious George books you will love this one!

5.0 out of 5 stars Such A Curious Little Monkey, October 1, 2007
This review is from: Curious George Goes to an Ice Cream Shop (Curious George - Level 1) (Paperback)
I've always enjoyed Curious George as a little girl. There's never a dull moment reading all of the clever and fun adventures of Curious George. It is amazing of all the lively humor this little monkey can bring to so many young children. I highly recommend the Curious George series to anyone for a child who enjoys a good story.
