Impossible not to love it,
By
This review is from: Curious George and the Pizza (Paperback)
The series of Curios George books is the favorite children's books series in our family, and this book is no exception to the rule. This story of the unusual pizza delivery is just great! Perfect bed reading! Another children's series that my eldest daughter recently fell in love with is Why Some Cats are Rascals, Book 1

This review is from: Curious George and the Pizza (Curious George 8x8) (Hardcover)
This book was the first Curious George book I bought for my sons (aged 4 & 2)and they really enjoyed it. They liked the fact that George does lots of exploring and gets into trouble. I like the book because it shows them how to turn something negative into something positive. I would recommend this book to anyone with young children. Curious George is a classic and fun character!

My son loves this book. It's a perfect length for a three year old - is long enough to tell a story but each page is short enough to keep his attention. Great book, is funny, my kid loves it. I plan to buy more like it.

Good book. It's one of the older George stories and drawings, not one of the newer George stories and drawings.

Bought this for my 14 month old grandson. He loves George and he loves pizza and this has become one of his favorite books. He loves the pictures and all the colors and all the things Curious George gets into.

Any Curious George is a Classic for kids. It's relatable because my twins are as curious as this monkey.

What Happens When George Frolics in a Pizza Shop?,
This review is from: Curious George and the Pizza (Paperback)
Adapted from the Curious George animated film series, Curious George and the Pizza tells the story of the curious monkey and the Man with the Yellow Hat going out for pizza. They visit Tony's place, where the baker tosses dough in the air--making pizza in front of his customers.Someone from a local factory calls to order a large pizza and Tony gets his coat. Curious George wonders if *he* could make a pizza, too--and begins tossing dough in the air. He get locked in the pizza delivery truck by accident and Tony is angry when he discovers the monkey in the back when he arrives at the factory! However, because Tony arrived too late at the factory, the gate is locked--but George ends up saving the day. As far as Curious George books go (my son has over a dozen of them!), the illustrations culled from animated stills are superior to the drawings by H.A. Rey (although they ARE classic!) so I liked the looks of this book. We were recently at a bookstore and my son asked for not one, but SEVEN more Curious George books...including this one! He loves them all, in fact. This 32-page book is good for beginner readers and makes a nice bedtime story, too. My only reservation about this book is that that Tony calls George a "bad monkey"--instead of calling his BEHAVIOR bad. The good news is that Tony quickly figures out a way to use George for his own purposes--and doesn't harm him.

Curious George and the Pizza,

This review is from: Curious George and the Pizza Book & Cassette (Paperback)
Graphics and story were weak relative to other George books. It seems as though this (and a few others) were just screen shots of the George movies, with no real story.

Good but a few problems,

This review is from: Curious George and the Pizza (Kindle Edition)
There are a number of problems in the book. For example: unlike other George books, we don't know why the man with yellow hat is gone. It's a nice book but not the best
