Bought this for the two year old. he loved it with the rocket ship/George set together.we pretend after reading the book.

My 5- and 3-year old sons enjoy this book. They received it at the same time they received a Curious George play rocket, so the storybook was very complementary to the toy. The story is simply told and wonderfully paced, and that monkey sure wins you over.

My 3 year old asked Santa for a rocket for Christmas. He got the rocket as well as this book, which allowed for some conversation about what rockets do. Simple book with a familiar, beloved character - perfect.

I purchased this book for my 2-year old son who loves Curious George and to accompany the stomp rocket launcher he received for Christmas. We both enjoy reading this story, in which George is asked to pilot a rocket and then parachute back down to earth. I like that there's a countdown from five to one before the rocket launches, squeezing in real world education is important to me, and that the story is simple to read but satisfying. It has the potential to lead to further questions or discussions about space as well, but for now we enjoy reading this one over and over again.

I guess this book is great for small children but I was expecting a full size book but it was 4x4 in size if that. And George goes up in the rocket but parachutes out of it which brought on the question of "how did George get the door open" from my older son. Gee, I don't know but that was talented of him.

I bought this for my nephew for Christmas. It is much smaller than I thought when I bought it, but otherwise great childrens book.

i love the book how ever I thought it ws going to be biger...so i was a little disapointed...but the book is in awsome shape
