Maybe my expectations are too high. My 2.5 year old BORED in minutes. It's just a slide show. There's no interaction. It reminds of early CD-ROMs.

My daughter listens to the stories and it even teaches you a few things while you are having fun. My daughter likes it.

I usually read product reviews before any app purchase, I wish that I hasn't bent that rule on this one. Interface is cute, but not as rich as I would have expected from a brand affiliated with PBS like CG. There are great ideas here, but poor execution. For example, the option to show words in context is great, but the audio is just repetition of the word itself, not the entire sentence. In that same instance, the illustrations accompanying the words are not "interactable" as I have come to expect from some of the other great children's apps that I have had experience with. The only reason I am giving this two stars instead of one, is the fact that the illustrations are absolutely adorable and I love the idea behind it all- just wish the reality was as good as the promise...
