I just finished this book. I couldn't put it down and kept going without sleep until I was done. What a poignant read! The woman with the Chondrosarcoma was a wonderful character. She seemed such a valiant soul so representative of those who are able to experience life to the fullest extent of their being. The author has educated the public about this very rare condition with her story. The main character is easily recognized as one of those people who start out living wild and unconcious, but with life experiences biting at his heels, he is able to find himself. I can hardly wait until this author publishes again.
