I studied from various Lange medical textbooks and Current Diagnosis and Treatment texts extensively in medical school and residency. I have found them to be up to date and packed with practical information. Current Geriatric Diagnosis and Treatment is of the same quality that I've become used to with Lange medical publications.

In the tradition of the wonderful Lange Series Current Medical Diagnosis and Treatment this new book on geriatric care is a handy reference for the busy primary care internist who needs a reference that is both authoritative and accessible. Current Geriatrics addresses the special considerations involved in caring for elderly and aging patients. It covers conditions specific to aging (such as Alzheimer's disease and end of life care). Importantly, it also reminds us how to tailor our treatment of many common medical conditions to the particular needs of elderly patients. Current Geriatrics is an important addition to the library of any health provider caring for older adults.

This is an awesome text for professionals who wish to brush up on all aspects of geriatric care. I am using this book as one of my primary study references for geriatric pharmacy care. I would recommend this text for anyone with an interest in geriatric care.
