Darcy and Rachael reluctantly go along, but the nightmare begins anew when they encounter a shipboard saboteur, a rapist, and much more. Mick finally succumbs to his emotional stress and Rachael falls victim to a violent predator, as they all meet with violence and madness wrought by vengeance.

I am pleased to present this second adventure novel in the Darcy Farthing cruise ship crime series.  The third book in the series, Current Assets, is planned for release in the summer of 2012.  Thanks to all my readers who have provided such gracious feedback and reviews.  For a new author in an unbelievably competitive market, nothing helps more than review comments.

Arleen Alleman is the author of the exciting Darcy Farthing cruise ship crime adventure series. With publication of the second cruise ship crime book, she says that publishing novels has been a life-long dream. She is already working on a third book, Current Assets. She is a former analyst with the Government Accountabililty Office, where she wrote extensively on many topics ranging from satellite systems to endangered species. She has also worked as a fashion model, insurance adjuster, jewelry designer, and owner of a home decor shop. Her interests include health and fitness, world religions, travel, and reading fiction. She says that traveling is not only fun but the various world locations supply backdrops and narration for her fictional stories. Born in England and raised in New Hampshire and Nevada, she lives in Colorado with her husband, Tim.

5 stars? When the characters in a novel grab me heart and mind as did CURRENTS OF VENGEANCE,that is an automatic 4-star read for me. Arleen Alleman took my adventurous spirit for a spine-tingling ride this time with her storyline. She deepened my respect for her story-telling skills by delighting me with historical tidbits as her characters explored the sites of many South American cities. Engrossed, totally caught up in the enigma of the plot, I once again became the main character, Darcy, as she dealt with all manner of frightening events and subterfuge...especially those inexplicable psychological undercurrents going on within Mick. Oh yes, a 5-star+ read!

Great story and love the historic sites described at each port stop. Exciting drama and mystery. Alleman knows how to keep her readers glued to the page. Easy yet interesting reading make for great entertainment. Might have to schedule my own cruise vacation soon. Highly recommend this book to all novel-lovers. Fun, exciting and educational!
