The core curriculum is a must have for any neonatal nurse. It's the "bible" of neonatal nursing guidelines. An excellent reference to have each day you work. Easy to read and follow along. Good pictures.
I traveled to another country to teach nurses how to care for premature babies, and this was the first book to get packed into my suitcase!

The Core Curriculum for Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing is a thorough but easy to use resource covering all aspects of pathophysiology and recomended interventions. It has good illustrations and photographs that support the descriptions. It is an excellent resource for anyone who is serious about neonatal nursing.

This book is a great resource for any healthcare profession caring for neonates and premature infants. I am an RT/Paramedic on a neonatal transport team and I find this book as my main resource.

This book is a great reference book for the experienced NIC nurse. The outline format is a little easier to follow than straight textbook format. There are a few chapters that are not explained very well, or the data is skipped over quickly, but overall a great book.
