The product was easy to put together and was great at first. My son got it for Christmas and now, it's barely into February and the brake line has snapped and the motor won't turn on. Not acceptable that it's broken so fast!

My 9 year old daughter was so happy to receive it as her birthday gift! She loves it! I am amazed at a quality of this scooter!
She took it for a ride and the kids aroung noticed right away and were so jealous, this scooter versus other "small" scooters literally looks like a Mercedes vs. Ford! :) I got to ride it as well and I loved it, it is very sturdy and holds up to 150 lbs.

I purchased the Currie Nano eZip scooter for my grandson's birthday and he got about five minutes use out of it before the chain fell off. I put the chain back on the sprocket and turned the rear wheel by hand and I noticed that the tensioner would bind up and the chain would fall off after 2 or 3 turns of the wheel. I called Currie and they sent me a new tensioner and had the same result. Currie's warranty service leaves much to be desired. If a part breaks 10 days after the date of purchase, they bill you to ship the part out (we did beat the 10 day window). The "authorized dealer" in my town hasn't carried Curry products for years and did not do warranty service. When they were sending me the part, I asked that they send detailed installation and adjusting instructions so that the part will work as intended when I replaced it, they failed to do that. With 2 brand new chain tensioners not fixing the problem, I am concerned that this is a design flaw and would strongly suggest you look for a different model. We purchased the Razer e200 and my grandson loves it.

One thing to look at when reviewing the reviews is the date of the review. The scooter we bought has been recently redesigned. The 5 star reviews are from an earlier model of this scooter.

Don't buy it, I hated it. Not worth the money. Used it twice and it can't be used in an afternoon. Gets weak very quickly

Perfect for my son who saved up his money to buy it. It still works fine and while it's not heavily used, for the money and what it was meant to do, I have no complaints.

Worked great for a month. Now it doesn't work and I have no idea why. We have no experience with scooters so it may just get trashed. Also it has been frustrating that my daughter couldn't plug the thing in herself (she is 9) because it has a 3 prong plug that can only fit of you get it lined up just right underneath the board. So every time it died I heard "Mom, come help me plug this in!" Aggravating. I would not buy again.
