1.0 out of 5 stars Of Limited Interest, September 17, 2009
This review is from: Curry: The Story of the Nation's Favourite Dish (Hardcover)
This book is not about curry as much as it is about the more famous Indian and Pakistani individuals who started "Indian Food" businesses in England. It outlines how they started, their struggles and how they eventually achieved success in the Indian Food business - restaurants, factories producing prepared Indian dishes, etc. It does not talk much about curry at all. I would have enjoyed more learning the history of curry, what it consists of, how to make it, how to cook with it, etc. This book covers none of that. I found the book boring and repetitious.
