Product Description

From Children's Software Revue® -- "Subscribe Now!"

Take to the sky in this World War I flight simulation! Unfortunately, it's not as exciting as it sounds. Your task is to fly one of eight available planes on missions over war-torn Europe. You work your way through the regular missions and go up against the most infamous ace of all: the Red Baron. A simple Dogfight mode is also available if you want to skip all the levels and jump right in. Graphics are marginal and the plane is difficult to control. Of the flights sims we've seen, this ranks low on the excitement scale.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredibly Addictive!, November 10, 1999
This review is from: Curse You! Red Baron (CD-ROM)
This is a completely enjoyable game. There is nothing like taking a break from headache inducing homework for a quick game of Red Baron (though don't be surprised if a "quick game" turns into an hour!). If you click onto this selection, buy it! You'll love it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not bad, but needs improvements, August 14, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Curse You! Red Baron (CD-ROM)
This game is a good flight combat sim, but there are a few things that could be changed. First of all, it is very difficult to control the plane if you do not have a joystick. Second, it is also hard to get the enemy into view in order to shoot him down. Overall, i thought this game to be more frustrating than fun, and it also does not incorporate with the rest of the Red Baron series. It tells you nothing of how to control the plane which is difficult in the 1st place. Being a long time player of Red Baron games, my personal favorite is "Hunt for the Red Baron". You can find it at www.fiendishgames.com and it is VERY VERY fun. Curse you Red Baron, however, is not at all worth the money and I do not recommend anyone to waste their cash on it. Save yourself the frustration! Do not buy this game!

3.0 out of 5 stars So So for a Real Gamer, May 31, 2004
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Curse You! Red Baron (CD-ROM)
This WWI era plane sim is unbelivibly hard to control. The planes don't have rear gunners. Also, the game gets repeditive. On the good side it has good graphics for its time and realistic planes and iterface. Overall 3 Stars.
