*A bit about his latest writing:
"No Hand To Hold ~ The Infinite Journey" ~ An engaging tale of a young boy's struggle to survive. Stonie is barely fifteen years old but blessed with an unwavering faith in God. His father has run off and left him with no family. Faced with a life on his own...he boldly walks out into his cold new world on a seemingly... 'Infinite Journey'.
The author deftly blends mysterious strains of the spiritual and just as often...the supernatural throughout this story. A constant mix of profound feelings...pain, happiness, romance, and more than just a touch of suspense. All the while, this young lad unwittingly demonstrates unexplainable knowledge and powers.
Some say Stonie is flirtatious and a romantic...because - he is! As an old tune once said; "I fall in love too easily" . Stonie's young loves sometime seem to come and go as quickly as the sun rises and sets. Loneliness and the feeling of not being loved slowly gives way to new horizons.
Putting his personal issues aside, while spanning the continent, he becomes aware of the constant opportunities to share his love and kindness. Stonie becomes more sensitive and benevolent day by day...in many a way. His tender, selfless approach and a willingness to care for each new friend in need becomes his calling card...his mission! All the while...the author weaves a wide spectrum of music throughout these pages.
His daily life is often very sad. Yet almost always tender and moving as he clears the many hurdles that have been set before him. All the while...a silent voice...a constant whisper; "Stonie, you are on a mission."
With a unique cast of characters his life becomes a wonderful story of humanity at its very best!
To the millions of sad and lonely kids - everywhere. Kids lef to fend for themselves. Just nameless shadows wandering through the streets and alley-ways. Hungry...often cold and without shelter. Longing for someone to care...someone to love and someone to love them in return. Ever afraid of each new day... not knowing what it may bring. Little Boy Lost Warmhearted... But with a sad soul... In the sun, he ll go wanderin ... And under rainclouds too... Often, just a cold restless wind... Stumblin all around... Walkin down a road to nowhere... In clothes - all hand me downs... He can t go home... He has no home... Yet - as always... He looks up to God... No dreams to leave behind... He cannot die...the night is young... Must survive... Till his final song is sung... And this little boy is found! © Curt Erler We all need to make the effort. Reach out to these children. Always remembering, what we do today for ourselves, dies when our body dies. What we do today for others will live on ~ it is immortal!
